Fucking Up...

Ever get the feeling you should gaffer tape your mouth shut. Not for S & M, but to stop yourself from spurting forth how you really feel.
Now some people will tell you that it's great to say what you feel... It's not true, because sometimes what you feel is fleeting and you might not feel it in a few moments, then you are stuck with what you said in a moment of bitchiness or confusion. It cannot be taken back, apologies never really wipe out mistakes, they just put a thin line through them, the initial commment will always be more visable than the correction.
Language can get you into trouble.
It's not to say that the shit that pours out of your mouth isn't valid, no it can be the most valid stuff to ever cross your mind, the big BUT is this...
Perhaps the pleasure and release you get from saying it is not worth the fallout that comes afterwards.
There has to be an equation to fit this dilemma, a series of letters and squiggles to help us work out if it's worth voicing outloud the niggling whisper that spins like a warhead on your tongue.

If X equals that niggling whisper, then it's sum must be greater than Y which is the fallout.
If only I was a mathlete...
